Parker Global Strategies launching $500m energy infrastructure fund...

On the day that US Congress returned to Washington from their annual summer recess, $1.1 bln fund of funds shop Parker Global Strategies announced the launch of its $500m PGS High Income Trust fund of funds formed to invest in the US energy infrastructure. The Fund will invest in natural gas and crude oil pipelines, refined products, and storage tanks and will be the firm’s second foray into the energy and natural resources space. The first, PGS Global Energy Edge was launched in March 2007.
